ADOBE ENCORE, WHAT A PAIN

I have a client that wants a copy of the story on regular a dvd. I was following the tutorial to do it with Premiere Pro and then AME but then it requested Adobe Encore to do it. Adobe Encore is not included anymore, it says you should downloaded as part of CS6. I did and immediately it warned me about conflicts with a lot of my CC 2018 and 2019 programs. It wanted me to get out of Premiere Pro, Adobe link, Photoshop server something etc. I canceled out of it. It has to be a easier way to do this. Is Encore somewhere in Premiere Pro CC? I have a wav file and a M2V file but I need Encore to create a simple DVD?

Thanks

Yea it is a pain. Do yourself a favor and take meticulous notes on the problems you encounter and how to work around them. While I can understand the quandary Adobe ended up in that caused them to discontinue Encore specifically, I cant empathize with their decision to basically abandon DVD authoring all together. With a still sizable army of people that request disc delivery for playback it would be awesome if Adobe developed a cloud based replacement for Encore that Dynamic links to the other apps just as Encore did. Almost any video pro worth their salt at one point or another is going to be asked if they can deliver the footage or final edit on a DVD.  If you're relying solely on Adobe the answer to that question for some is probably no.

Sorry but a cloud app will never be capable of doing this as there are way too many variables and the file sizes are just too large.

Sort of

How to get previous using a Cloud subscription https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2528377

-the menu option to see previous versions has changed (several times!) see message #18 for the latest

-or possibly (another new) procedure in https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2549992

When you have Encore questions, you may go to forums.adobe.com/community/encore/content

Restart windows then install cs6. No other adobe app should be opened first.

Ok, thanks! Why would it be so difficult to install a legacy product? I have tried free authoring software and they are very buggy with Windows 10.

Common practice when installing (any) program to restart computer first so not having any thing else open.

After install restart computer.

I reinstalled recently and got no such warnings. How specifically did you install CS6?

I downloaded it out of the cloud, it extracted and it went to install, it warned me of potential conflicts with my CC products.
