Question

Adobe fonts change by themselves

I have a project where I'm using some Adobe fonts in a graphic. Everything has been working fine. Then today I open the project and all my fonts are changed to some other font and the font name I was using [is listed in brackets] as the selected font. I'm assuming this means it's unavailable or something. I have the font added (azo sans) in creative cloud, and I can select the font again from the list, which then shows up without [brackets] but all the font variations that were there before (thin, book, bold, etc) are not there anymore. Instead it just gives me the 1 option of "medium"

I've tried closing reopening, re adding the font, etc. This is very frustrating because I have to export and send this video today, and then this happens.

This is probably due to your Adobe CC Desktop App doing some font cleaning for you. Mine's done this too. It may 'deactivate' fonts it doesn't think you are using.

So go to the CC app, the Fonts tab, and work through it making sure all fonts you need are installed and active.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
