Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature.

Dear Forum troops, I seem to be experiencing a technical hiccup when attempting to encode Proxy files within PP CC 2018.

I definitely have Media Encoder installed

So anybody's expert advice would be a great help in getting this to work.

Thank you  Branded Channels, it seems I was running PP 2019 and ME 2018, after installing ME 2019 and restarting, all has gone to plan

Did you try launching Media Encoder prior to using Premiere and Media Encoder?

Seems like you have CC 2019 installed only, but you say you would like to encode in CC 2018.

Encoding with a program that is missing from your system, is kinda difficult...
