Adobe Premier SUCKS at encoding!

Adobe Premiere V25 (including current update) has made in app encoding impossible. A two minute cuts only video with titles takes 11 minuted to encode. Yet if I send it to media encoder it take one minute. I am greatly frustrated and perturbed. I spent three hours this morning tech'ing through my network 10gb card and harassing IT. The card was not the problem. There is no excuse for this issue, it was bothering me, so I jumped through every hoop I could find to no avail. I landed at the truth Adobe Premiere is unusable for rendering output in a rational amount of time, and I am upset by this.

Hi @mediam51394087 - As a test can you Can you try and hold down "SHIFT" while launching Premiere and check the boxes
"Reset app preferences" (Backup Preferences first)

This was the solution. I am not exporting from premiere at the same speed as media encoder. The preferences were the problem.

The screen caps are from after I updated to the latest graphic driver and restarted as suggested by support. I have never experienced bad renders or black screen. I have only experienced extreamly slow renders from premiere itself for the past months.

The problem is that the driver is now too old to be supported in any Premiere Pro version higher than 25.2.3. In this case of a driver that's too old to be supported in 25.6.x, what the Mercury Rendering Engine does is to render in a fail-safe mode (software-only rendering has been completely removed, resulting now in a completely blank, blacked-out renderer selection dropdown box), with the highly likely result of corrupted exports.

Hi @mediam51394087 - Can you try updating your driver to the current version 591.74 and let us know if that helps your issue.

After the previous version of 25 gave me this issue I upgraded to Premiere version 25.6.4.

My graphics driver is 32.0.15.6094

The video is from a DJI Osmo 3 (H.265/HEVC) And a GoPro 12 black same codec. This has been my workflow for nearly two years and never experienced this level of slowness until the past few months but I dealt with it until today.

Preset: If you mean my encoding perameters, yes the same ones I have been using for two years. I sent the export to encoder using the same preset.
