Question

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 - How can I replace "Replace Footage..." but not keep the previous' video properties ?

...I may have phrased the title slightly weird but what I am trying to say is that I messed up.

I have made 50% of the video I am trying to make and I just realized that all the clips from a video I imported are slightly zoomed in.
That is because from the toolbar at the top>Preferences>General, I had not selected the "Default scale to frame size".

Now that I have that selected, when I import the same video again, it fits in the screen like normal but the same video that I had imported before the change... is still zoomed in.

I thought one way of fixing this was to right click (the originally imported video which all the sequences are linked to) and choose to "Replace Footage..." but that keeps the properties of the original video and it is still zoomed in.

One way to fix this is to go to each clip in the timeline and change the Scale to 67,0
or
Again go to each clip in the timeline, mark down the "In" and "Out" along with any other changes that I may have made and just re-do them.

I also read something about going to each clip and right click>Replace with clip>From Bin ............ but I didn't quite understand that and as I was fiddling around I saw no difference.

Replace footage will take on the height and width of the new clip, but already in timeline it wont adjust itself to the new settings.

Nor will Replace clip from bin.

OK, thank you, I guess. But you didn't really help with my problem, but that's ok.
