Adobe Premiere Pro Certification Renewal

Hi.  I posted this a while back and was told to wait on a response from the product team. It has been a month and I have not heard anything back.

I have several Adobe certifications - including one for Adobe Premiere Pro - that I am seeking to renew before they expire. The Adobe account under which I had earned them was associated with a student email account that has since been shut down and rendered inaccessible. That means I can't access that account, log in to use the Adobe online tool to update my email, or use the reset my password function (which would require retrieving a code sent to the old address).

I opened a case with Adobe's certification department about this issue and they directed me to Certiport, the third-party service through which I earned the certificates. Certiport has updated information on their end but said I need to go through Adobe to get my email address updated for my Adobe account.

I've spoken a couple of times with Adobe Support, who pointed me to my school district's IT department.  The IT deparment said the email address is inactive and cannot be re-activated, and said I would need to speak with Adobe.

Which brings me here.  Can someone offer me a way to either access that old account or to have the certifications associated with my new account that actually has a valid email address?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hey BD, sorry about the support loop you've found yourself in.

Glad that it got updated through Certiport – they rule the realm of Adobe Certifications for us. We have a few safety mechanisms in place to help verify emails. Could you send me a DM with your original, de-activated email, and the email you want it switched to? I'll message our account teams to see how we can help.

Please DO NOT share your email on this public thread! Send me a DM here: https://adobe.ly/428NMuU

Happy to help,

Caroline
