Question

Adobe Premiere Pro keeps crashing on Macbook Pro

I downloaded Premiere Pro 2019 (ver 13.1.5) on my 2015 Macbook Pro (using ver. Mac OS 10.12.6). I am able to open the application and import files, however the moment I try to move the file into timeline the spinning wheel of death appears and the program crashes.

A friend suggested I wipe my laptop and move all my files into an iCloud account, which I have now done.. so my laptop has 470GB of storage available. Despite removing all the files (was at 40GB available beforehand), no improvement..

Is my Macbook too old to run the software? Is there anything I can do to solve this?
(The official Adobe page does say my computer is compatible with the software..)

I tried searching for an older version of Premiere Pro to download, but the official website unfortunately doesn't offer any older versions.. Is it possible to download these elsewhere?

Thanks.

I moved your post from the Get Started forum to the Program Specific forum, Premiere Pro.

If this is in Error please state the exact Adobe program you are asking about.
