Question

Adobe Premiere will not send to media encoder

Tried with version 25.6.3 and 25.6.1....neither will work. It's like dynamic link is broken. I have cleared the media caches. I have restarted my computer multiple times. I have done fresh installs. Nothing is working. I'll bet that because Media Encoder is just version 25.6 and premiere is 25.6.x....well there it is. Fix adobe! you're killing my workflow!

I'll try to do that when I can....but I'm in the middle of several projects right now and resetting my preferences is not feasible at the moment while I have a workaround. Sorry, but maybe do some troubleshooting on your end.

Hi @twoelsphoto - Can you try and hold down "SHIFT" while launching Premiere and check the box
"Reset app preferences" (Backup Preferences first)

Can you share a screen recording?

It doesn't matter if I do it that way or the export tab in the main interface. ANY attempt to send a sequence to Media Encoder WITHOUT dragging the sequence over does not work.

Hi @twoelsphoto - When you say "I go to export dialogue" What do you mean?  So your steps are timeline panel is highlighted, then you navigate to the menu bar, and click File > Export > Send to Media Encoder?

I mean, its pretty simple...I go to export dialogue and instead of clicking export I click send to media encoder. Nothing happens, whether Media Encoder is open or not. Now I did find a workaround in that I can drag a sequence over to add it to Media Encoder queue...but inhave no confidence that will remain a viable option since I can't seem to fix the click on send to Media Encoder issue.

Can you explain more on what happens and provide reproducible steps?
