Adobe turns audio into robots

I can view my recordings with windows 10 movie and tv with everything perfect. The moment I import into adobe my audio wave forms get really weird, almost robotic. The video still looks great. This audio stays this way even after encoding. Any idea's of how to correct this? The file format is mp4.
