Adobe uninstalls the programs that work

Both on my mac and windows the software has been uninstalled only to have Premiere pro not export with the export keys. And media encoder not open at all after an automatic update. Very frustering.

there are no auto updates unless you choose that. so, disable if you don't want it

 

and don't remove previous working versions until you're satisfied an update works the way you want.
