Advice needed - transitions for talking head series

Hello friends!

I have a few videos that were shot with a single camera in front of the presentors slideshow ( the slides were hard coded into the green screen so i cannot seperate it)

During the recording, the presentor did not give enough time between cuts/ideas/ full paragraphs in the shots for clean transitions ( simple fade to black or using morph cuts if we had chroma footage).

Currently the only thing i can find to do is dip to black and back.

Any suggestions ?  all would be wonderful! I wish i could share footage but alas i cannot . Please let me know if you need clarifications.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my post!

Of course! sorry I cannot share a clip.

I have a recording, interview style, of 1 person ( or actor) in front of their slides ( the slides are baked into the recording). lets say, 1 minute in, the actor makes a mistake in their script and instead of bringing it back to the top they confirm their mistake, tell the teleprompter folk to bring it back up and continue talking.

I need to cut out that teleprompter portion..

I am trying to find any sorta tip for patching the jump cut that happens in the above described.

again, im sorry.. its really hard to explain without sharing footage.

Making a cut and adding a quick Dip to Black transition sounds like a good idea.

Or you could try Morph Cut transition
