AE Dynamic Link: sync audio after moving clip in AE composition

Question

I am trying to use After Effects to create a transition between two clips in my Premiere sequence. There is some time between the two clips where I’ll have a brief title on screen. I selected the two clips in Premiere and clicked Replace with After Effects Composition.

In the After Effects comp, I had to adjust the timing of the clips to accommodate the transition. Now, when I go back to Premiere, the audio is out of sync (even though I selected both audio and video when I created the dynamic link). How do I keep the audio in Premiere lined up with the video track in After Effects?

I would do the transition in After Effects because audio doesn’t dynamic link into After Effects that way that you might expect.
