After changing color profile on BROLL project in productions, edited timeline is out of sync

Have been editing several sequences in productions with my footage set up in one project and my timelines in another. To edit, all my footage was color managed with a lut. Now that the sequences are ready for turnover, the lut needs to be stripped for color. After removing the lut in my footage project, it seems to have broken some link in my timelines.  The source clip is correct, but premiere no longer recognizes what part of that clip was supposed to be there. Has anyone had or fixed this issue before?
