When I try to import an After Effects project into Premiere Pro, it gives me an error message saying I need to have After Effects 2023 to upload the file. I have After Effects 2023 and it is up to date. What is wrong with it?

Having this issue but for 2024!

Using both Premiere Pro 2024 and After Effects 2024. All up to date. Poor.

Same issue. Leave it to Adobe to have super odd bugs that repeat themselves over and over again.

Same problem here since Pr 23.2 update. I have an old project made in Pr 23.0 with Ae comps in it (Ae 23)
Both Pr & Ae has been updated in 23.2
My Pr project opens fine in 23.2 but the dynamic link with Ae comps is impossible to do. My Ae comp opens fine in Ae 23.2
Pr prefs has been reset, I created a new blank Pr 23.2 project and imported the old one in it : same.
If I manually reimport my Ae comps in the new project, it works fine.

Seriously Adobe I'm getting tired of your buggy updates.

Restart your system if you having this issue, sometimes dynamic links can't open until restart system. try on latest build.

thanks,

I'm also having this issue. Tried several restarts, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the programs. AE crashed earlier during a render and it corrupted both the original file and the most recent autoave. I recovered most of my work, but it won't link back, giving me the "error, AE 2023 must be installed" message anytime I try to link media. This is the third time in two weeks I've had to deal with this issue.
