After installing update, presets and custom effects folders gone :'(

I updated all apps, (including PP) yesterday.

All my presets I've had saved for years, all my custom folders grouping my most-used effects... all gone.

All referenced in Lumetri to my carefully grouped LUTS, gone.

Adobe has a wierd, inconsistent folder structure... I'm not sure how to fixl. Any idea how to recover these items?

I have the LUTs in the same folder as before the update. I want to know where to put them or what to do for this update to recognize them. Do you have a suggestion?

I didn't know I could save presets. I've started rebuilding my most often used Effects, and guess I will have to save new presets as I need to create them. Can you tell me how I save those?

When you updated, did you select "Import previous settings and preferences"?

All I recall seeing as an option was whether to retain previous versions or not, which I said no to. I don't recall needing to specify the update retain my settigns before. That should be the default, right? Thanks for the idea of what may have happened.

This is the prompt. I've seen it default to unchecked and checked, depending on the program and version installed.
