After updating Premiere Pro on macOS— freezing while editing and watching footage

I experience exactly the same problem. constantly  freezing. while editing, watching footage.

And before the update it was indeed extremely stable.

up untill now.

realy unable to operate normally. I am working ith a client who is pretty frustrated too.

if you were selling cars, 

you car can't stop suddeny on the highway either.

Very annoying .
