ALE Import Issue

We are trying to export bins from Avid, via exported ALE files, in order to import into Premiere Pro, and have run into an issue. We bumped our version of Premiere from 2017 to 2018 (ver 12.1.2) as per the instructional posting on Adobe.com (Migrate Projects from Avid Media Composer to Adobe Premiere Pro |  ). The video shows that the ALE imports into Premiere without issue, but when we try to import an ALE, following the same steps, the import progress bar runs from beginning to end, but leaves no evidence of the imported ALE/bin in Premiere. I noticed a discussion posted in May, from someone running into a similar issue when bouncing from Davinci Resolve to Premiere Pro, but there was no resolution at the time. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? If so, was there a fix utilized?

The version of Avid exporting the ALEs is Avid 2018.3. The Avid, and Premiere Pro, are being run on Mac Pro canisters (6.1); 12 core Intel Xeon E5, single processor at 2.7GHz, 64GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC RAM, dual AMD FirePro D700 GFX cards, OS X ver 10.11.4.
