Aliasing in Adobe Premiere

Hey,

This might be a weird question, but is there a way to create the aliasing effect of a sony vx1000 in adobe premiere. Where diagonal lines have some sort of pixelation and when the camera shakes this happens aswel. It could be something with the interlace of frames but it doesn't look like that very badly interlaced footage. It looks more like something with aliasing.

Here's an example (just picked a random video, hope it's clear):

VX FILES! RAW UN/SEEN VX1000 FOOTAGE - YouTube

Thank you!

Regards,

Toon

The "aliasing" you describe is simply what diagonal lines look like on low resolution footage. Just make a sequence with the preset DV - NTSC Standard 48kHz. You could also export it in MOV DV to add some blocky artifacts. Add some color correction to blow out the highlights and it'll look just right.

Please post a timecode, I'm not watching your 8 minute video to find the issue. At a rough glance, I don't see any pressing visual issues.

Sorry, on the first clip, after he shows the camera, you see that the outlines of the rail (and pretty much all diagonal lines) are like a sort of pixelated. I wanted to recreate that effect with a more modern camera. So it's not an issue, it's just a little detail that this camera (and other vhs cameras have) that I would like to recreate and was wondering if there is a way in adobe premiere to get something similar to this.
