Question

aligning 2 clips with slightly different angles

So, I got some footage of an artist who shot down an ally. The camera was handheld but had excellent stabilization. They tried to put the camera in the same place on the two shots, but the zoom and angle are off a bit.

I have never tried this before, but I want to line them up enough for cross dissolves to work as a transition.

Here are the 2 shots, with the standing shot being V-Track 2. V2 is in b&w.

I would create two sets of keyframes on the clip that you want to change.

One set of keyframes would be at the cut to (or from) the other clip, with the motion properties and/or transform properties and/or anchor point (or other effects) adjusted to match the other clip.

Then create another set of keyframes at the other end of that clip as desired.

Okay, I will try that. I want to create the feel of his alter ego/conscience in different poses in the background occasionally.
