All Menus grayed out

Question

I just started a new project, imported some video and while I can play it, I cannot do anything else.  All the menu options are grayed out.  This includes when I right click the video and attempt to change the playback speed.  Any ideas?

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

https://helpx.adobe.com/in/premiere-pro/using/reset-preferences.html

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
