AMD 5000M Graphics not supported?

Anyone know when AMD 5000M series will be supported?

I use a MacBook Pro with 5300M Graphics and the card is not in use when Mercury Playback Engine GPU (Metal) is used. I have to use OpenCL, and this is slower on new Mac's right?

Thank you 🙂

By "not in use", what do you mean? As in for playback, where a GPU isn't normally used in Premiere, or for use on GPU-accelerated effects like Warp, frame-resizing, and color, where Premiere actually uses the GPU?

Thank you Neil, Ok, I thought GPU was in more use during playback. When option OpenCL is used, there is more GPU usage (the AMD 5300M, in MacOS Activity Monitor). I most only apply some Basic Adjustments, Curves and maybe a LUT. I hope it will use more of the GPU in the future, the load on the CPUs looks high. (I'm new in video editing, and don't fully understand the softwares yet. Coming from stills and Photoshop, but I understand you need really good machines to playback large files smooth, I use 4K 4:2:2 10bit files/Lumix S1).
