AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB graphic acceleration in premiere pro ??

How come the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB graphic is not in the selection card recomended graphics cards?

The apps all do different things through the GPU ... and so it can vary depending on which effect/process is running also. I would guess if you're running 95% of your CPU, it's processing as fast as it can, and sends stuff to the GPU when it's ready to do so, which is why the GPU isn't maxing out.

They give a list of the specs, and they also have a list of 'known' usable cards. But they do NOT waste time testing every freaking card out there. Nor do I as a user want several engineers doing nothing but testing GPUs.

 

Is it relatively new, and meeting the new specs? More importantly, is it on say the list of recommended/tested cards at some place like Puget System? Then great, don't worry about it.

No it's not in the list and theis card was released last november hope they'll do something soon cause Adobe premiere only use 25-50% GPU and 95% CPU... With Davinci Resolve it's 95% GPU so rendeirng and realtime playback are way faster than premiere. For a video editor like me it's painfull to see how slow it is compare to other software. One day maybe
