Another Choppy Export

Hey All!

I have another choppy export problem. I read through a lot of the posts here about exporting and settings to try but nothing seems to fix. I recorded and editted some videos without any problems. Recently my latest videos preview fine in the Windows Movie & TV, and in Adobe Premiere Pro. When I export the video stutters/ jumps and it's very noticable. Does anyone know the problem or can provide a solution?

Intel Core i7-7700K

16.0 GB Ram

Premiere Pro v22.0 - Now, and what ever was before it

You might want to try running it through the free app handbrake, make sure that the output is set to a fixed frame rate and see if that helps.

here's some more details on Rob's suggestion.  Screen recordings are often variable frame rate which can cause intermittent and unpredictable problems.  Here's how to diagnose and fix the problem

use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate
https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate setting the quality slider in the video panel to maximum
https://handbrake.fr
and here's a tutorial on how to use handbrake

Hey All,

I wanted to bump this and see if anyone might know a reason for this to happen.
