Any way to make subclips quickly, bypassing the pop up window?

Subclips:

Has anyone found a way to create Subclips without having the dialogue box pop open (Name+restrict)? Looking to speed up the process; tried Command-dragging to a Bin but it still pops open that dialogue box. Supposedly there's a way with markers but I can't get that to work (maybe AI hallucinated that answer).
