Anyone update to 13.1.5?

Curious if anyone has updated to 13.1.5 yet and how it went? I got majorly burned when I "updated" to 13.1.3 and Premiere would crash every 10 - 15 minutes. And that's if you could even get it to open, with proved a challenge in itself.

 

Regardless of what I hear, after that Grade-A debacle I will probably still wait at least a month before I update to 13.1.5. But I'm curious if anyone has yet. If so how was the experience?   Is Premiere still as buggy? Still a lot of crashing? Even with the 13.1.4 "update" I experience between 15 - 25 crashes or freeze-ups a day with Premiere. I probably spend just as much time re-booting, reloading and troubleshooting projects as I do editing with Premiere... which of course is not ideal.

The only change notes provided by Adobe was the extremely helpful "Adobe Premiere Pro 13.1.5 provides important fixes and is recommended for all users".   So would love to hear from someone who has actually taken the plunge. Did it make anything better?

    Render files suddenly vanished. Had to waste time re-rendering.

    No audio on playback for part of the sequence even though the waveform clearly showed that there was audio with the clip. Wasted time re-starting Premiere and PRESTO!, the audio was there.

    And as I've stated several times over the past year, Workspaces still don't work. More time wasted re-positioning windows and loading custom columns.

    My station is choosing to hold at version 13.1.4 until version 14.1 is released. None of our bugs are fixed in 13.1.5, and scrubbing performance is worse for our workflow.

    it's bad!! for no reason whatsoever (apart from upgrading from 13.1.4 to 13.1.5) i got the dreaded "mpeg importer error" on a big project and now it refuses to link many of my files. downgrade back to 13.1.4 and all program settings are gone. great. now i deleted the caches, and still no link to the video's... after manually relinking they finally show up again. what a disaster.

    From my early tesing on a dual E5-2650 computer, H.264 playback performance is worse on my DJI Drone footage, and the Mercury Playback Windows Scaling bug is still extremely evident

    Please file bugs or upvote on these items. I am so sorry that the patch seems to not be that helpful to your workflow. With drone footage, I always recommend transcoding, but you have a very powerful computer, as I understand it, so I apologize if you have to go through that. —Kevin

    I'm testing it out currently, no egregous issues yet. I would really appreciate if Adobe would provide actual changelogs.

    I installed it without any issues. The Workspaces STILL don't function properly....shocker!

    I've installed it on one machine, and I see no issues. But I have not stressed it at all. When I install a new version, I create a new project to test from.

    I have learned to create a drive clone before any updates (windows or adobe). So I have a fall back if I see problems.

    I am so sorry for your issues, ANP. Getting ready to update my personal systems here, myself. It's a dot release so it should not put your project file in peril. What you might try is deleting existing media cache and preferences. I'll update, as well, and will report back to you to see what might be going on here.

    Hey Kevin! Is there going to be a more thorough description about the update? I'm curious to know the full list of bug fixes.
