Apple OS Updates

There is some discussion in this community and outside this community about when to install Apple OS updates.  This week Apple released Sequoia 15.0 and many people say "wait for 15.1".  Why?  I doesn't seem to make any difference since every modification brings a new set of problems.  We just saw that Sonoma 14.6.1 created huge problems for Premiere, Cinema 4D and Final Cut users.  The real issue is there are TOO MANY updates too frequently from everyone.  It's so insane now, that we never know if the next version is a fix or a bunch of added crap that's going to create more issues that no one knows how to fix.  Adobe, Maxon and Apple need to STOP catering to everyone and focus on the needs of professionals.

I got a blanket email from Puget Systems yesterday ... they make mid to high-end workstations for all pro video and audio apps ... their testing caused them to strongly suggest that all pro video workers hold off on Sequoia for now, due to common issues across applications.

Yep.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
