Arabic SRT subtitle file showing as ***** in Premiere Pro

I am trying to export an SRT file containing arabic subtitles for a program.. The issue is that the text continues to show up as stars rather than recognized.. I am using the latest Premiere Pro CC version from the Creative Cloud.. Any tips ???
