Question

Are Lumetri input LUTs saved as part of a Premiere project?

I'm currently editing a project that I'll be passing over to another editor to finish off. I've graded the footage through Lumetri Color and part of the grading process has involved adding an Slog-3 to rec709 input LUT through the 'browse' menu item in Lumetri. Does anyone know if this LUT will be saved as part of the Premiere project so that, when the other editor opens it up, the LUT will be automatically implemented even if the other editor doesn't have the LUT saved on their computer?

You will need to send/archive third-party LUTs along with the project file.

Thanks Jim. What would the editor that I'm sending the project have to do to 'relink' the LUT to the footage? Premiere doesn't seem to prompt you to do this like it would for missing footage.

First, provide the project along with the LUT. Then they would have to go to the Lumetri Color effect or Panel and 'browse' for the LUT stored locally. If you only have one Lumetri Color effect instance, this would be a significant breeze.
