Question

Are there any shortcut to move clips to end of sequence?

Hey there!

Is there any way to quickly move selected clips to the end of a sequence?

For context, I presently work on long edits where I've got a couple hours of initial footage that needs cut down to a 10-15 minute mark, with no script or guidelines to follow. Since it's hard to know exactly what I'm keeping before I do a full pass, as I'm trimming & making cuts I like to stick any "maybe" content at the end of the timeline for easy access. Currently I select & drag it to the end of the timeline, then navigate back to where I was, but it feels like this process alone ends up adding a good bulk of time to my workflow and I'd really like to optimize it.

Even if the answer to my intial question is no, if you've got any ideas or resources that might guide me on how I can best optimize the kind of workflow I've described I'd love to hear them!

Thanks so much!

Aria,

Copy > End Key > Paste > Home (or Shift+I to go to an In).

Look into a stacked "Pancake Timeline" or switch to a second sequence to paste your clips to.

Lots of options.

Thanks,
Kevin
