Aspect Ratio changes

I set up a project with one video of a show and the aspect ratio was completely fine. When I replaced the asset it zoomed in the image so that it looks as if I have to scale to frame size (like in premiere).  I have used the same video settings with both videos and I re-exported the file to make sure that it had the same settings to see if I made a mistake with them. I am at a loss and Im up against a deadline.  Does anyone have any thoughts on what i can do or is there a way in encore to change this.

Thank you in advance.

Justin

My only thought is operator error (you think you used the same settings, but did not).

If you haven't exported anything since that one, go to export (PR or AME, whatever you used) and double check. Post a screenshot here might help.

Did the replaced file have a different name than the one you were replacing (it should).

It can be painful, but if you are certain the new file is correct, create a new Encore project and do over rather than replacing. If there is a lot involved in redoing links, chapters, etc, you can try clearing the cache etc, but Encore is not forgiving, and Encore project corruption is very possible.

You'd have to retranscode in Encore; you don't want to do that.

How did you replace the video? Using the "replace" in Encore? Or...?

This should not happen.

I used the replace asset function in encore. Thanks for replying btw.
