Assigning hotkeys

I'm trying to assign something to ease in/out but none of the combinations work. I've tried assigning F1, F2, shift+1, shift+2 but none of that works.

Correct answer Ann Bens

Make sure the KBSC is set for the Effect Controls and not the Timeline.

You're right. I was assigning keys to the timeline. I admit my fault. I'm new to Premiere, I didn't know there were different places for keys. This is not a bug. Unless it's my bug 😄
Thanks for the help, buddy.

I also checked the functionality of these keys in other programs (DaVinci). They work correctly, they are assigned normally. But in Premiere I can't do this.

I also tried assigning these keys to the Ellipse tool, but they don't work either. I tried doing the same in the stable version 25.6.3, but they don't work there either. Now it's clear that the problem is not with the beta version. But what is the solution?
I have a MacBook pro m1, Tahoe 26.1.

To rule out a different issue, double check that other actions work on those same keys, to isolate it to just the easing actions.

Assuming the issue is only with the ease in/out shortcuts, could you elaborate on what you're doing, where it's not working?

For example do you mean when you select keyframes in the Effect Controls panel and use the shortcuts it doesn't change to ease in/out type? If not where are you using the hotkey and what are you expecting it to do?
