Audio and microphone allegedly faulty, but work
Hello,
my Adobe applications (Premiere and Audition, I haven't tested the others but I think it's similar) claim that my speakers and microphone are not working. That means I can't hear any sound and can't record anything. It either says that the audio device or microphone is not working or it says 'MME device: internal error' when I try to change the audio device selection.
It's not true that the devices are defective. I can play sound with all other apps or in the browser, and the microphone works fine with the Windows recorder.
The problem came up with the last update of your software.
I've been trying to find a solution for hours now. Online forums etc. are no help.
Does anyone else have the problem?
Or ideas for a solution?
Unfortunately, the only way to reach Adobe Support is to use the virtual assistant.
