Audio and Video Way out of sync - massive drift on longer projects please help

Hello, I can't figure out why there is so much drift between audio and video.  I build a new computer this year and am all updated using the most current version of Premiere.  I'm hoping this is an easy fix somewhere in a setting...  The strange part is when I take the project and edit on my laptop the drift is not nearly as bad.... Unfortunately it takes 10 x's the maount of time to edit and export on my laptop...  I would really appreciate any help, many thanks in advance!

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and source properties and sequence settings

And yeah, Ann's right.  VFR footage is usually recorded on a smartphone or with a screen recording program.  Here are a few more links that can help diagnose and solve the problem

use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate

if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate

https://handbrake.fr
and here's a tutorial on how to use handbrake

Out of sync is usually caused by variable framerate.

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere.
