Audio becomes unsynced

I have several clips from a Canon Movie Camera - (MTS Files).  The Audio becomes unsyced when using the source window to create clips. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.  -Denise

    It has been a LONG time since I had a camera that created that type of file, so my memory may be faulty

     

    But... did you copy the entire folder from your camera to your computer drive?

     

    My (maybe faulty) memory is that MTS requires you to import from the folder, not just copy the video files by themselves from the camera to the computer and then import the files

     

    Also... is your video CFR (Constant Frame Rate) or VFR (Variable Frame Rate)?

    Thanks!  Actually, I deleted the cache in Premier Pro preferences, and so far... figers crossed ... this seems to have fixed it.   Thank you for taking the time to help.   -Denise
