Audio distorted on playback

When adding music to my video in Adobe Premiere Pro the music is distorted. Even older files I created on premiere pro the audio is distorted. It plays fine for the first second then is distorted. This was working fine a few days ago. Any ideas? Thanks JD.

Jim thanks for the info. But last night had the issue with audio distorted. Came home from work today opened Premiere Pro and everything is back to normal. Not sure what happened. Thanks for your help.
