Audio does not export reliably if sound essentials preset used

Quite often I will use the sounds essentials preset of "balanced male voice" and sometimes when I do that Premiere does NOT export the full audio of the video, and in some cases, none of it. If I listen to it in Premiere, there is no problem, this is only upon export. I'm using a basic preset for export of the 1080p high quality and the footage is from a gopro.

As a rant, it never surprises me to see people running from Premiere.. I can't even count how many hours I've wasted trying to sort this out, having to export again  and again to just discover that I can't even use the audio modification abilities of Premiere. When people question whether or not there is even a QA team for Premiere, I kind of just nod my head "yup... this thing has deal breaking bugs", but this used to work flawlessly. How did they break audio export to badly??
