TWO WEEKS to figure this stupid issue out. Going down rabbit holes of variable vs constant frame rates and it was this stupid buttom that IDK why it was turned off.

click the box - "Attempt to torce hardware to document sample rate"

Located under Prefernces<auido hardware

Well ... in the PC version, it's where you have several options for the Mac audio like "clock" ... that's intriguing. Not so helpful though!

Does Apple have that as part of their OS audio stuff?

Where do i change the amount of latency in the settings

Latency is probably the issue. The audio may be either slightly ahead or behind when it needs to be, as they are processed separately of course. And that is controlled by the Latency setting in Premiere.

So ... Preferences/Audio Hardware.

Change the amount of the latency setting so it seems to match best. You might be able to adjust this enough to work.

It's fx3 Cinetone footage so when I watch the orginal clip outside of premiere pro words and auto match.

Inside of premiere proon a 23.967 fps timeline It's a quarter frame off continually and does not vary. It was also shot in 23.967.

I found out last night if I convert the clip to a .mov from .mp4 it helps but this is just a small work around I'd rather know why it's happing.

By "raw", do you mean original clip? Or are you shooting true "raw", log, what?

And is this a latency issue, as say the clip is a quarter frame off from the audio continuously, or does it vary down the playback length of the clip?
