Hello
The reels are without audio. The Interviews were recorded with a video camera separate from the audio.

The audio was recorded on a cassette tape recorded. These audios were recorded on cassette recorder in the early 1970s. The task is to imported the audio track into the timeline- than working on sync. However, the drift is noticable. Possibly tape stretching as the result of long term storage.
Is there a method I can utilize that help sync this material? a method to adjust drifting?

I include a sample - to show the issue with drift.
Thanks!

Then you have to manually fix it.

One way to fix it is to cut the audio on the timeline every 60 seconds and manually move the audio to the right to get it back in sync, repeat, repeat, repeat. Use a short audio transition between each clip to "mask" the cut. The shorter transition, the better. It should be max 1 frame long. 0.1 frame long is better. (Set the timeline to Audio Time Units)

Sometimes cutting every 300 seconds is enought, sometimes 600 so you have to test. Avoid cutting when someone talks. There is always pauses between words, cut there.
