Audio dropping out during playback after rendering

Read a bunch of troubleshoots on this but nothing seems to work. I have a MacBookPro 16" Apple M1 Pro 16 gb on MacOS Ventura 13.0 of 500 gb 360gb is available.

been working off a hard drive to edit to keep the MacBook free and it's been working perfectly before having to get the system fixed by apple due to some random screen display error. Ever since getting it back sounds has been dropping out.
