Audio file bug - waveform bugs out or doesn't exist

I've noticed this bug on occasion in previous premiere versions but usually a restart fixed the issue. Now, I'm working with Premiere 25 and when I go to import an audio file, there's no waveform and therefore no sound. I tried changing the name of the file and that worked on one file but not the others. I'm attaching a screen recording to demonstrate the issue. These are just normal mp3 files I've used in previous projects.

UPDATE: When I upload a wav file instead, premiere seems to be happier. Not sure if it's the file itself that is corrupt or that Premiere is being buggy again.

Thanks for reporting, @Monica28708826nt6z. You may want to use .wav or .aif files moving forward. mp3 are containers that can use codecs that might not be supported or fall out of favor. Not sure what's up in your case, though. Sorry for the hassle.
