Audio in timeine

Good morning! I have a problem with the audio. I imported an mp3 file into the library but when I insert it from the library into the timeline it doesn't play. If I open it in the library instead it works. Thanks. Manuel

Update: even with .wav it doesn't work but by creating a new project it seems that everything has been unlocked.

Covert the mp3 to wav before importing.

Premiere Pro can sometimes behave wonky with mp3 files.
