Audio Interface Suggestions - Premiere Pro/Audition

Specs:

Windows 10

Premiere 2017  11.1.2

Intel Core i7

RAM 64GB

Nvidia Quadro M4000

Ive recenetly moved over to a PC suite from using mac for years and with the change over i brought with me the AVID Mbox 3rd Gen. Unfortuneatly AVID are not doing updates for this audio interface for PC anymore and my comp is contantly crashing because of it.

After uninstalling the Mbox, everything is working great so there is no confusion on what the issue is.

What replacement Audio Interface should i get that wont run into these issues in the near future?

I edit TVCs and record VOs from a sound booth directly onto the comp. I only need one, two inputs at max, along with a quality headphone jack.

Thanks.

I have used the Berhringer FCA610, and the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. Both worked well in the workflow you describe. I had some issues with the more recent versions on the Adobe apps not wanting to "share" the device very well. Switching between Audition and PP would often nock the device offline. I would have to unplug the USB and plug it in to get the device to be recognized again. Audio quality on both was more than acceptable.

The Behringer looks interesting especially at the price point ...

Have you asked this over on the Audition forum? The folks that use that sort of hardware hang there more often than here ...
