I've used Premiere Pro for 3 years with no issues and I updated to 2023 version and now my audio drops every 2 seconds in my timeline. Is this a ongoing bug?

16.0 GB RAM

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor

3070 RTX GPU x2

WIN10

New project in new version of premiere.

When using CapCut the audio does not drop every 2 seconds.

When I use music and mute audio from that was recorded on my camera the audio plays fine. I did make proxies of my footage.

I have cleared Media Cache - I set audio input to no input.

RAM reserved for other applications is set to 3

Audio was recorded using my Hollyland Lark M1 on my Sony A7SIII.

Seems as if my Sony audio is causing lag similar to video when proxies arent created.

No.

So how about helping us help you?

OS/CPU/GPU/RAM, the number dot number version of Premiere, the media of that sequence, any effects used especially audio ones, is it a new project in the new version, or a project converted from a previous version?

What's the audio... camera audio, separate sound, what?

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
