Audio issues when exporting to H264

Hi community

I´m having audio issues exporting from Premiere to H264 format.

I´m exporting a 90min clip from a multi-cam sequence, and in the resulting file I get the video, but the audio is not exported properly. It playouts for a few minutes, but with a slight delay with the video. Then, after 5mins or so, there is no audio at all. I had this problem with several exportations always in h264 codec (requested from the client)

The source media of the sequence are HD and 4K files, along with a wav audio file (2 channel stero file with no edit, the only audio output in the sequence)

I´m exporting in a Mac pro (2Ghz, 16RAM of memory). I export directly, not through Encoder. Premiere version is 22.2.

Any ideas about how to overcome this?

Thanks in advance!

Gonzalo

Hi Gonzalo,

Sorry for your issue.

What's the version of Premiere Pro you're using? Is your footage downloaded or did you record it on camera? Could you try previewing the file in a different media player?

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hi Nishu

Thanks for your early reply.

Here are some of the espefications you mention:

  • I´m using Premiere 22.2 version
  • The footage is recorded via Sony FX3 cameras using XAVC codec (2 in full HD, 2 in 4K)
  • I have tried to preview the files in QT and Filmage media player and the issue perssist in both. BUT when I import the exported files again into premiere, the file previews correctly, with a/v on sync.

If you need further information, please let me know.
