Audio not working

Hi,

I'm having issues with my videos. I've just had to start over half of my project again because when I imported more clips it went over the top of most of my work. So now I've had to redo it and put the old clips back into the time line. For whatever reason certain clips won't let me insert the audio on the time line. But when I preview them the audio is working. Can someone please tell me how to fix the audio (I tried importing them again but it won't work) (inserted clips below)

Please when posting screenshots post the entire UI not just little bits. The important bit like the header of the timeline is missing.

I think maybe getting a better understanding of adding media to the timeline panel would help. There are two basic processes for adding from the Source monitor, via either drag/drop or keyboard shortcuts. Insert ... where it drops the clip where the playhead (CTI) is currently sitting, and "ripples" the rest of the clips to the right.

Or Overwrite, that inserts the clip where the CTI is, but ... overwrites the clip already there.

Also, you need to understand track targeting. To the far left of the timeline panel are the Source and Track targets. For Source targets, this determines which tracks "incoming" video and audio clips go to. If you have only say a video track selected as a Source target, then only the video gets added to the timeline.

Or of course, you can drag/drop clips directly from a bin onto the timeline whereever you want to put them.

You can find that in the Help stuff.
