audio on export in Premiere Pro

When I export my movie in premiere pro, I have the audio all peaking at around -12db, and it sounds good. Upon export the audio is much louder and slightly distorted, even when I turn the volume down.

Hi Steve,

I have two questions:

What are you using to play the video outside of Premiere?
How does the audio sound if you import the exported file back into Premiere and play it there?
