Audio plugin settings vastly different upon export

Hi, I'm attempting to use a reverb VST3 plugin from Arturia (works fine in Ableton) on dialogue in Premiere, setting it at around 10-15% wet for a little ambience. It sounds great in the timeline. But when I export (match sequence settings, etc- nothing about plugins/audio FX in export settings) - the reverb sounds like it's at 100% wet, big booming hall reverb. Why? I've tried so many things, only thing is to clear the effect.
