Audio Popping at transitions

I have an audio clip followed by the same clip reversed and so on. At the end of the reversed clip the audio pops. It shows up in exported video and does not go away with any transition. I have found no solution to this so far. Both the sequence and the audio file are at a sample rate of 44100hz.
