Audio Previews and Waveforms disappear everytime I close and open a project (23.6.0)

I consider Premiere Pro to have ongoing issues with audio, and this specific problem. I have dedicated internal SSDs for caching and nothing else resides there. Every time I close and open a project, I must re-render the audio so I may see the waveforms which I consider essential to editing. This has been ongoing yet today I took the time to stop working on my deadline-driven project and post this issue here to see if I am alone or if this is common amongst my universal editing colleagues. I am a frequent user of nested sequences and this seems to exacerbate this (and other) issue(s).
