Audio Problem: playhead moves and the video plays but there is no sound

Often I have been editing a video and the audio shuts down. I start to play the video and the scrubber moves and the video plays but there is no sound. The fix I found is to toggle on and off the Solo button on one of the audio tracks and the sound works fine.
